I've not felt this way since I was in the presence of my ex wife. All joking and movie references aside, she is back in town. Flying in from Texas a couple of days ago to attend the birth of our latest Grand. Last night my daughter went into the hospital so they could induce labor. The new little one is ready, according to the Doc. Full term, weight is good, "she' is just late in arriving is all. Typical of the women in my family..they are always late. My daughter was no exception to this , of my own three she was the only one who didn't want to come out. My oldest son was a week early, and the second son was born on his exact due date. I guess the women in my family just like to make the "grand" entrance. I fully expected to be awoken early this Am. With my phone blowing up and messages and photos of the new Grand. But nothing so far..which tells me the new one is being stubborn. Either that or the players involved are again forgetting there is a Papa that needs to be notified of her arrival. Or should be kept in the loop at least as to how things are going. But then I'm used to that sort of thing, finding things out after the fact is also something that runs in the family. I'm not worried ( much ) I know the daughter and new grand are in good hands, being taken care of as needed. They'll eventually get around to telling me what's what I'm sure.  In other news...an older brother sent a text yesterday letting me know he'll be going into hospital today to get the surgery done on his bad knee today. I wished him luck and let him know to text me and let me know how things went after he got out of recovery and such. I would have told him that I'd stop and pay him a visit, but with the Pandemic an all hospitals are a no go unless you need to go to one for treatment. I believe they ( hospitals ) are the only place in the city ( or state for that matter ) that still require you to mask up just to enter the building. Any who, work was loads of fun yesterday..pulling carpet and pre cleaning a unit so the PM. could have a place to show prospective tenants, then moving on to the next place where the vacating tenants left a huge mess. Worked in that one from the time my lunch ended till it was time to go home and didn't make much of a dent in bagging up all the stuff they left behind. I actually had to phone the boss and ask him if he gave me the right address because when I opened up the door to go in the place looked like there where still people living in it. Needles to say but I'll be back in that one again today. I figure it'll take me till lunch time just to finish bagging up the crap and hauling it to the dumpsters. I dread having to empty that fridge...amp;  amp;Any who time for me to hop into my shower....
