It was sixty degrees out when I left to go to work yesterday morning. By mid day I was taking my hooded sweat shirt off because it was too hot to wear it. Well it was a nice couple of days...but it starts getting colder today. Snow in the forecast.  Just a taste of what's to come I suppose? Odd thing, when I went to re do the laundry yesterday after noon, not a soul had been in to use it since I cleaned up in the morning. No trash, the machines all clean. It's like that never happens. I got the one bedroom unit finished for it's move in today, but the three bedroom place was never painted. Oh, the new carpets were put in sure, and I've already cleaned up the carpet installers mess. But, the contracted painter never did his job like he was suppose too. Our on staff painter was pulled off of the job because he was taking too long to do it. The contracted painter was supposed to do the job Wednesday night but didn't show up. If he didn't get the job done last night, well lets just say I might have to do some painting today to help get the place ready for it's move in that happens tomorrow. I don't mind painting, but I'm not a professional at it and I'd much rather not do it if I can help it. I wear too many hats around here as it is with all that I do, but in a pinch I will help out. The other maintenance guy has not been in all week. Aside from coming in to sign his time slip on Monday, he's been a no show. He must really be sick to miss this much work. I hope it's nothing serious? Or covid related? That would be a bitch. I don't even want to think about that scene. I'll be doing some shopping this weekend, I'm out of everything edible aside from the hot sausage I bought last time and can't eat, and breakfast cereal. I made the last pot of coffee in the can this morning, having to tilt the can over the brew basket to get the last of the coffee in it. I think I may have a couple of hot dogs in the fridge, but I'm out of anything to put them on...no bread, or buns. So it looks like I'll behaving breakfast for dinner tonight, or take away from the corner mini-mart. Any who, time for me to jump into the shower now. Crossing my fingers that the painter has been in....
