Feeling Blah. Aches and pains as usual, and just plain tired of working every day of the week. My last day off was Christmas, and I was called in to shovel snow twice that day. Yeah, my pay check was good that week but money doesn't ease the soul when your wrung out from working all the time. I see the Indy 500 was delayed due to weather yesterday. Not that I watched the race, my feelings on auto racing should be well known by now " Go fast turn left " as exciting to me as watching paint dry. During the lull they interviewed the drivers, this of course when they should have been showing their normal scheduled shows. I tuned in to watch those, and was denied. The report was there was thirty thousand fans in the stands to watch yesterday, a record crowd, the largest gathering of fans to watch an event since the start of the pandemic. Of course there were precautions taken at the gates. Though from the looks of things not too many of those fans were wearing their masks as they should have been. Silly sods. Can you say super spreader? Ugh! Going to take down the kissing booth sign from the front door today..what do you know I didn't get one customer.  Not that I expected any. Just a novelty sign for the holiday. Saw the neighbor lady has finally taken down her Christmas decor from her door. Well, it is the middle of February right? About time she did.  It's supposed to be really cold in the area this week. Too cold if you ask me, and we'll be getting more snow. The weather guys are calling for a foot or more. Yes, it's pretty and everyone gets to stay home and feel snug when it snows, but I don't get snow days in my job. Just the though of being outside in frigid temps. and shoveling steps off has me wanting to run away to someplace warm. The thing is I can't. If i don't go in it makes the work harder for those that do. Ah well, time for me to jump in the shower....

Has been in the low single digits or negative all weekend  Today the Heat-wave begins with high of 19 & 31 on Tuesday Rising a little each day to a predicted high next Saturday of 38  As far as the Work Thing ; just believe in the Old saying that, " This too shall pass ! " Has Helped Me numerous times when working before I retired !!
