Quite nice in fact. The profile of a guy who viewed mine. Very hot, one of those guys who give you instant wood just by looking at his photo's. The rub? He lives thousands of miles away. That happens a lot. Someone male or female will pop by to check out the profile, and tug at the heart strings, or should I say fuel the fire in my loins. But you know there will never be a real connection. As it is I have a fifty mile radius as a rule. Even that has shrunk somewhat what with me no longer driving anymore. I gave up driving years ago now, when I moved out of a place with an ex lover I'd been living with, at her request. As it was I was paying most if not all of the bills in our joint living arrangement, including the lease on a car. Knowing I'd be moving in here and not really needing it for transportation anymore I let her take over the lease. Of course I got the monies back from her that I'd already paid out for the thing along with the amount I should have gotten from the trade in on my van when we started the lease. Any who I don't miss driving, I never really cared for it in the first place. Driving always made me feel uneasy, and doubly so during the winter months. Which by the way seem to linger longer than they should in my neck of the woods. Oh, I'm sure of myself when I'm behind the wheel, it's the other drivers who I worry about. There always some idiot out there who thinks that winter driving is a lark, and they can do so like there is no snow to contend with...yeah I've run in to a few of that type, or should I say they ran into me? Yeah I don't miss driving at all.

The back has been acting up again, must be due to all the shoveling as of late. Yeah, the snow has been light, but we still have to clear off all the steps around here, and my counter part isn't one to attack the job with any gusto. So. I end up shoveling more steps than he does. I'd say something but what's the point? Not like he'll work any faster. I myself could work slower, but that presents another set of problems. I don't like being out in the cold any longer than I need to be, and if I slowed down we'd never get the steps shoveled. That and the longer it lays on the steps the more chance there is that tenants will walk all over it and pack it down making the light stuff harder to get up. So I work at my usual pace and my back suffers. It's a lose - lose situation any way you look at it.

Any who, I'm late getting into mys shower...so I'm off...

I live in the suburbs and couldn't survive without a car.
Have you tried ibuprofen and a heating pad for the bad? It helps me when I'm hurting.

Elevate me...

I do use a heating pad every once and a while. When the pain gets to be too much I'll also take a couple of O.T.C. pain relievers though I have to take a certain type so not to inter fear with my Arthritis medication. Hot showers seem to make it feel better, I suppose that's why I'm always taking them. I live in town, on a bus route so getting around is easy, or I'll give my daughter a call to see if she available to run me some place I need to go that's off route. Have a good one Chick!

Icy hot patches for your back? One of those kind of pain killing patches maybe? I use a TENS machine to block pain transmission. I suck with drugs.

I've never tried the patches, have tried the liquid stuff though...felt like the stuff was going to burn my skin off. So, I'm a bit uneasy about using the patches. Have a good one Pony.
