Another apartment to clean out. Food and personal belongings left behind as well as furniture. Damaged walls, glass shades on most of the light fixtures broken or missing, shower surround with holes punched into it, rugs that are now toast that were just put in before the last tenant moved in. The only carpet not torn up was the one in the main bedroom, saved from getting trashed because they had a king sized bed in there ( left behind ) that took up three quarters of the room. It took me all morning just to bag up they stuff they left. Then carry it all to the dumpsters. I left the furniture, no way was I carrying that crap down two flights of stairs by myself. The afternoon saw me cleaning the cabinets and Fridge. Yeah that took the rest of my day. I sprayed down the range with oven cleaner but that was as far as I got. The range top is in fairly good shape, but the oven... Yeah that's going to be a pain in the butt to clean. I expect I'll be another one or two hours in there just doing that. The only saving grace is the unit is a three bedroom and slated for a major renovation. So busting my ass any more in there will only be to pull up the damaged carpeting and floors. so new stuff can be put down. It was an eviction of course. I don't know if the damage was done because they were evicted or not? I really don't care anymore. Most days like after the one I had yesterday just seem like I'm running on auto pilot. A robot doing a mindless task. Such a waste. All that stuff going into the dumpsters and then off to the landfill. Makes you wonder if anyone has any brains at all anymore? Spending good monies on stuff only to just walk away from it. Like did they really need all that stuff in the first place? Idiots. Any who, I'm off to shower now....

In today's times; it's just the old revised expression, " Another day, Another Dime !" As they also say, " Just hang in there ! This too will Pass ! " I did a clean-out one time and took 8 construction size bags of trash out of ONE room

Too many people do not understand the value of money or goods. Or the honor in taking care of things. They are wasteful. I'm so sorry you have to clean up after brainless idiots. Take care of yourself sweety!
