The boss didn't want to have has go out to shovel yesterday. He wanted to wait till it stopped. But... As they say the best laid plans of mice and men. Mother Nature was just being a bitoch yesterday. The snow, although light, would not stop. By the time I got his text to go out a three inch build up of snow had fallen in less than a half hour. As you can guess, by the time we got done with the last steps in the complex it looked like we hadn't even started. I dread the thought of going out today. All that newly fallen snow and the fact that people have been walking on it packing it all down. It's not going to be fun at all.

I did manage to get the unit that is slated for a move in on Friday done. But the place needs new flooring in the kitchen and painted yet, so I'll be going back in there to clean it up again. I had just started another unit when I got the call out to go shovel. I managed to get the cabinets clean in the kitchen, and pull the wall plates off and take apart the stove and get that stuff into the dishwasher, but I din't get as far as I wanted to in the place, nor near as much done as I should have.

Word from down state is Phil won't even be venturing out of his hollow today. Who knew Groundhogs were afraid of Covid as well as their shadows? Yeah they don't make masks for Groundhogs it seems, and with the way that place gets packed with people every year to see the event, social distancing is a moot point. So it looks like we'll be in for six more weeks of winter my friends. Not that it matters any who. Phil always sees his shadow. Not like winter will be over just because a groundhog say's it will.

Off to shower now...

Tell the boss you need a snow blower for the sidewalks. And a young helper for the stairs. I'm sure you are fit as a fiddle. All the shoveling though!
Have a great day!
