 No, just the same thing mutated. As the second case of the now mutated virus has been reported in the U.S. Funny but news reports say the guy who was the first to get it had not been traveling and had not come in contact with anyone he could have picked the new strain from? They are still checking his contacts though. What I'm wondering is if perhaps he's one of the first in his area to receive the vaccine? Just that the first cases of the new strain didn't not appear in the U.K. until after the roll out of the shot. It seems like a made for T.V. disaster movie rather than reality.

In other news I see Dawn Wells has passed. Mary Ann, as I'm sure we all come to know her as. The last I believe of the islanders to leave us. She will be missed by me and I'm sure the rest of you who grew up watching the show. I'll always remember those coconut cream pies...rest well Dawn.

Closer to home, it's the last day of the work year. Last day of the year actually. The P.M. will be off today. My first job after cleaning the office and laundry/Gym areas will be to post eviction notices. Four of them. Posting the orders to Vacate is the one job I really hate doing. No one likes to be the barer of bad news. I'm always worried that some irate tenant will take the bad news out on the messenger. Last thing I need is an altercation with someone about something I have no control over. Best to get the job done early before the village awakens, that is my plan. In and out and hopefully no one sees me.

I missed a call from my oldest son last night. I had the phone on it's charger in another room. With The TV. on I didn't hear the ring. Then again perhaps I just didn't hear the ringing of my phone because my hearing is getting worse. Six of one, half a dozen of the other I think. I'll have to schedule an appointment with my ear Specialist, see if it's something he can do something about, or if I need to be fitted for hearing aides. I already know what he'll advise. Trouble is even with the hearing aides my hearing will continue to degrade. Rendering them obsolete eventually.

Any who, time for me to jump into the shower.....

On a side note ; Hope your hearing is like mine was once !!! Went too Ear Doc , who proceeded too clean a Shit Load of wax out of ears & prescribed an ear drop too use once a day for a week !!! MAN !!! could I tell an immediate difference before even leaving his office

I do have a problem with fluid build up, but it's behind the ear drum. One reason I lost the right one and had to have it replaced with the bionic (plastic) one. " We can rebuild him, make him better than he was " Yeah no. The replacement is only about eighty percent effective hearing wise. The left ear drum I still have, though have had to have it operated on as well, same problem as the right one. Fluid build up behind the drum. Thankfully the doc. got to it in time before the fluid destroyed that one. My problem in a nut shell, is the tubes that are supposed to carry all the crud away from behind the drum never formed properly, because so the problem will never go away.
