Today. More shoveling, but at least it's finally stopped snowing. From the amount I shoveled yesterday I figure we got at least two foot of the white stuff, or more. By the time I got finished last night doing the job the snow on my front porch steps had already accumulated another two and a half inches. That's where I had started.

After I get done with the shoveling today it's back to my regular Saturday OT work. Hopefully no ones been washing clothing and the laundry is in pristine condition...yeah right. I did pick up a bit when I was in there doing my laundry on Christmas Eve, even though I had the day off. I just can't stand seeing anything dirty, or unkempt. Mainly because I know the dirtier something is the worse people will treat it. Not giving a flying fuck if they make a mess. I tell you the tenants around here don't need any encouragement making a mess regardless.

I'm kind of bummed in my Christmas bonus from the owner. Now with the old owners I got a substantial bonus, last year the first year of the new owners, that bonus dropped a lot. This year it dropped even more. I had planned on using the monies to buy myself a printer for the computer..last years bonus would have covered it. This years bonus wouldn't even cover the cost of a box of Hammermill Bond paper. No matter the money I get for busting my butt on OT the past couple of days may make up the difference, adding it to my holiday pay for two days it'll be a good deal. Not as much as the Bonus from the old owners but, better then what the new owners gave me last year.

A gift horse no matter how you look at it. Off to shower now.....time for work.

That stinks that they keep shorting your bonus. If they would give you a good raise to balance the money out I could understand.
Where is Cousin Eddie to fetch your boss and slap a bow on him? LOL

I don't have a cousin Eddie... The bonus is half of what I got last year from them, the other half I think they put on a gift card for a local eatery. I say I think, because the card doesn't have any amount listed on it? With the times the way they are and places being shuttered I think they were trying to do two things at once get a gift for me, and I assume everyone else who works here and help out a struggling place stay open. The place isn't that bad, A BBQ place where they smoke their on stuff... good food. But it's a bit far away from me to use the card I'd have to call for delivery..I don't even know if they do that? In the end it really doesn't matter, this past weekend I logged in eight and a half hours of OT more than enough for a good printer. Have a good one.
