It's what's for desert. I was about to ask the daughter what she thought we should have for Christmas dinner desert. Cake ,or pie. Before I could get the words out she let it be known that the Grands were asking for Cheese cake. Okay that works for me. Store made pies leave a lot to be desired in my book, usually made from frozen fruits, or having too much spice in them as in the case of most apple pies having too much cinnamon. I bought the sampler cheese cake, twelve slices of different flavors of the yummy-ness.

As for the glazed or gravy debate? That was decided when we picked out the ham. It was one of the only ones left at the market that was partially pre sliced and it came already glazed with honey. So problem solved. Well almost, had to pick up some pineapples slices as well and will have to make gravy for the potato's sooooo...

Snow on the ground this morning...part of that big north eastern storm that hit the east coast. We didn't get that much of the white stuff. On the edge of the storm we were spared for once. Most years we set records around here for the amount of snow we get. Often times beating out Buffalo NY. in record snow falls. This storm was mild compared to what we're usually faced with.

That time of the month...I'll have to get my medications refilled by the weekend. It works out, as I still have to pick out cards for my boys and one for the daughter and her SO. I can do that when I pick up my meds. at the Pharmacy. The Grands are covered and all their stuff is ready to be wrapped. Yeah I know said I was going to get that done a few days ago...but I've been putting it off, I hate wrapping stuff. Aside from a few last minutes things I'm sure that will pop up I'm ready for Christmas. Two full days off for the Holiday next week for me...paid days no less. I'll have Christmas Eve off as well as Christmas Day. Cool beans!

So how about you my friends? All set for your holiday?

Off to shower now.....

Only need too decide on some Stocking Stuffers for the Grand-kids besides the usual variety of Lotto Scratch Tickets !! IF, they get a Winning ticket; I take it in & they get the Cash !! " Stink-pot " Grand-son (age 6) got a $100 ticket & Grand-daughter (age 15) got a $25 ticket out of 5 tickets each last year !!!

I'm not fond of wrapping either. It's a necessary evil.
