Been decorating....

Just the tree really. Never realized I had so may ornaments. Too many for the five foot tree I have. Then again, I have grand , and as sure as December is cold and snowy, some of those ornaments will get broken. Guess that's why I have so many? Then once the presents are under the tree wouldn't be room enough for lots of things hanging down any way.

I didn't really go all out this year over decorating. seems like a year that feels less is more, me anyway. Oh I've got the wreath on the front door ( sure the bow is a bit scrunched ) The big snowflake in the front window ( it lights up ) the tree and a few things in the dining room. But aside from those things that's it. Most of the stuff I put back into the boxes. Being alone to do the decorating by myself this year, knowing that in January I'll need to take it all back down again ( alone again ) it seemed prudent to not over do.

Any , engaged as I was with all the decorating I didn't eat lunch today. Truthfully I wasn't really hungry. I did have a peanut butter no bake, and a cup of coffee....... Okay I'm back...telling you about the cookie, and I went to get another. It just sounded so good.

Any ...I'm set for the holidays so far. Decorating done. Now shop for presents ( ugh!) and wrap them ( double ugh! ) Then 'll be Christmas.....

I haven't managed to pull Christmas stuff out yet. I'll get the tree up. Hang a pine cone wreath my grandmother made me. Not sure if I'll do much else.

Your decor sounds great. More than I'm doing

Like I said sometimes less is more right? Somehow it just seems appropriate this year. Have a good one!
