 Sorry if there are any spoilers, but in my defense I haven't yet seen the film myself. If I've guessed correctly regarding the banana issue I beg forgiveness. Blame it on the Dark Side.

 Lol...your Dark side is safe there are no banana's in the film and you do find out why he is moping around on the rocky island. It's a fantastic movie.

Mini-mart/convenience stores are always so expensive and I always wonder who has the money to waste to pay such mark-ups...there is the other side as well eating healthy always costs more...

Well it's good to know I haven't slipped over to the dark. Though I'm still in a quandary as to why they would use a banana as a tie in to a Star Wars movie? Promotion is one thing, but it's like they're really reaching for the stars on this one. In any case I didn't buy the banana, and bought a small container of red seedless grapes. I kind of liked the tie fighter sticker it had on it.

But you do what you must to get something hot to eat when you don't have time to prepare it or eat it during the allotted lunch hour. Nice play on words there Joy, the bit about the cost not being A Pealing you couldn't slip by me with that one.

Two reasons really, the first like you said it's too expensive, the other is time restrictions. I don't get a lot of time during my day for lunch. So it's a quick dash off to the mini-mart to get something hot to eat and back to the old grind stone for me.

I am sure its because they think some kid will pitch a fit trying to get their parent to buy them a banana just because it has the star wars sticker on it
