Oh, I had to toss the snow shovel...even the toughest cleaning agent I had wouldn't remove the odor.

Funny enough, while acting as funeral director for the dearly departed skunk I happened to be humming that very tune in my head.

Oh lucky you having a tenant who would ask you to tend to a dead skunk. Good man to have taken care of that chore. If you want to have a good chuckle look up the Skunk Song by David Polansky on the Y Tube

Baking soda, vinegar and a little bit of Dawn dishwashing detergent will help get rid of the skunk smell. The "volcano" action you get when mixing the baking soda and vinegar creates oxygen to take care of the smell and the Dawn cuts the oils that are present in the scent residue. It's a cheap and easy way to fix the problem!

Thanks. Doing the dirty jobs around here is what I get paid for. The only real dirty job I balk at is running the sweeper on the carpets of an empty unit that's just been sprayed by the exterminator. Oh the pit falls of allowing tenets to keep pets. I know the little creatures are probably dead, but that still doesn't stop my skin from crawling.

Thanks for the recipe for a smelly problem. I my try that out next time. It's too late for that shovel, but not to worry I have several in reserve.
