Let’s Talk About Updating Profiles So this will be my first blog. Why? Because I am not afraid to speak my mind. What I say is usually what other’s are afraid to say due to the fear of offending someone. Screw that! If you are on this site you better have tough skin and not be overly sensitive. Which brings me to the profiles. I have viewed over 300 profiles. At first, I didn’t attention to the dates the pics were posted. I became familiar with the site after I became a gold member. I started to attention to the dates with a little help from some of my friends. Now, here is where it gets interesting. Putting old pics up to attract attention and sending an old pics is just wrong. Christ, if we all can show our woo-hoos and hoo-has on here we definitely should be able to show current pics of our faces. Like most on here we share them privately. We all have our reasons for no face pics on our profiles. As we are adults on here we should also be respectful towards other wishes, too. This is not . So, whatever your reason is to be on Senior Sizzle be an adult and have fun. For all that is wholly and good update your fucking pics! Just be you! You are of course right, but to be painfully honest, a trait I think that you can identify with, there are a great many people maintain profiles here with no intent to meet anyone. My think on the 20 year old pictures is that who they want you to pretend you are interacting with because they for all the if only and I wishes the reason they prefer to spend their time on here in contact with people 600 miles away is because they are never going to meet. Not the Whole Truth but the truth that I can see.

The reason is simple. When actually agreeing to meet in person, one expects to see the person in their pictures. Not someone from five or ten years ago. For me, I want to see the ‘now’ you. People change all the time.

well said, should always be honest, photos should be current, some of us do choose not to put face photos there, becomes awkward if someone at work or in your social circle recognizes you

Blogging is fun, and sometimes therapeutic. I like to write about numerous topics even if they are not directly related to sex. It is also a way for those that don't necessarily read profiles (or can't) to get to know someone on a deeper level before even engaging in one-on-one conversation. Welcome to the blog world, and special kudos to another Minnesotan. Not that many of us here!

well as it is a adult site no need to cleanse my words no need to change my pics tits, and cunts,and pricks don't change as quick as faces do... and if it gets to the point of "one on one chats. i hope we are all adult enough to understand that cams are not just for cybersex! past experiences have taught me that sending twenty year old pictures is just as easy as posting them on a profile, but a friendly quick chat on cam not only shows me that person in real time but reinforces my will to meet or not. bonne chance there is a world of difference between insanity and stupidity

I agree with you.. some profiles are 10 years old and that 6 pack probably isn't there now! I posted a status saying something like.. wow! you men need to share the secret of not changing in over 10 years! we could make a fortune! A lot of men come back each winter just for a mooch and to see if they get lucky,,, I don't think it even crosses their minds to update their pics.

I've never understood why people use old pics or even pics of someone else. I do get being discreet but if they ever have the intention to meet, how do they expect to explain that away? You are right on!

I have to laugh about this, one time meeting a couple for the first time the lady said to me "God you sent a recent pic most people don't do that. " My thoughts are if you are going to actually meet why would you send an old pic.

A BIG thank you for all that commented and/or liked. Don’t ever be afraid to speak your mind. Use your voice. Communication is essential in today’s world. I would like to add a comment myself. After posting this blog, as I checked flirted with me, hot listed me, viewed me, along with every other avenue one can chat on here, I was pleasantly surprised to find more recent pics in profiles. There were still quite a few very outdated profiles. And when asked for a current face pic, communication would stop or the pic would be very different. Like one of my commenters said, if you plan to meet, how will you explain why you do not look like your pic. (thank you PutterH) Again just be you. Either people are interested or they are not. Don’t take it as a rejection. Yes, I know it is not easy to accept sometimes but, life goes on and so will you. It happens to me all the time! Oh, and gentleman, women get their share of the fakes, scammers, flakes, and bots. Well, thank you again! On to the next.....
