The Awakening You look at me and my pulse quickens. You touch me and I catch my breath. My skin tingles in the wake of your caress. My soul takes wing. The gentle changes to firm. The soft to hard. Still my traitorous body responds. With love and gentleness combined with a firm hand You guide me Showing me your way. Forbidden and scorned. How could this be wrong? Viper, I appreciate your comment. And, to answer your question... Yes, it is meant to be this way. I write in what is called free verse. A form of poetry without the need to rhyme. Besides, rhyming is no the core of poetry, the soul of the poet is. Kyna {=}

There was a being who lived on his own who had no one to talk to and nothing to do. He drew up the plans, learned to work with his hands a million years passed by and his work was complete.
