 What confused me was that if they thought turkeys could fly, why would they expect them to only fly down to the parking lot and not someplace where there weren't any people lurking about.

 We took our kids to the Yellville, Arkansas Turkey Trot many years ago. They had stopped tossing the turkey out of a plane as people were being traumatized, LOL.
