Vintage lingerie

My fascination with lingerie started when I was young when catalogs would arrive at the house. I'd always check the lingerie, privately, of course. If I'd had a sister it probably wouldn't have been so alluring; it would have been just her underwear. But as it was, with an older brother, I found those items be alluring. Imagination took over: what would it be like to wear some of those things? Another influence, perhaps, was hearing my parents frequently say that I was supposed to be a , 2nd in birth order and they wanted a . But that did help me think that I should wear some of the lingerie I viewed.

Even today I like wearing some of the vintage garments when I can find them. They are a small part of the things I like wear but garter belts, waist cinchers, old style nylon panties (OK, granny pants), and soft cup or non-padded bras are all special. I have found some of those things in thrift shops. More about that<b> shopping </font></b>another time.
