Rant III BLING!
Why Bling? Why not bling...

I thought this might be a clever way to generate points, So Well... I went for it!
So I started playing around with it... The bling is.. I figured my bling would become wildly popular and if I could just get a few points while increasing views to my profile.. well then I'd have the best darn profile with the best darn bling.
Well didn't last long and i decided to be more altruistic with my bling. Free Bling for all! Thats the Princess in me saying.. "Let them eat cake"! Or something like that.
By the way, making bling is not easy. You can create some only to find out that this site mangles it. That said, trial and error, and some determination saved the day.
So then I had all this bling and I can't wait for people to find it so I start giving it away. Take my bling, Please...
Of course I thought my bling was clever and superior to other bling. I enjoyed seeing it on other peoples profiles, and I was even getting some messages relating to bling. I began to watch and see how popular my bling was. I tried to make more popular bling.
Then it hit me... WTF am I doing? I did not sign up here to be popular. I did not sign up to get points, I signed up to make friends and meet people. Instead of getting dressed up and going out, I sat for hours making bling.. (yes hours)
Ok, well enjoy the bling, but don't get all caught up in it like I did.
