Storm,
I can feel you,
racing across the horizon
as a cheetah pouncing upon it's prey,
roaring through the atmosphere
as a lion through the slack chambers
of the deep deep<b> silent </font></b>jungle,
devouring the waning sunlight
as a desert advances upon the
unsuspecting oasis.

Storm,
now I feel you,
suddenly upon me.

Fierce raindrops,
pitter patter,
forest birds,
skitter scatter,
spring leaves,
moaning and shaking,
tree limbs,
shudder and breaking,
new flowers,
blowing and flying,
spring seeds,
zipping and dying.

Storm,
your vengeance quenched,
you move on, leaving me drenched,
yet, I'm running fast through the green,
breathing deep, feeling the unseen,
nature alive, wild feelings calling,
spinning fast, into you I'm falling,
liberate me from this life of dust,
smashing my walls, unrusting the rust,
making me become
who I already
am.
