Spring - it is supposed to be coming
The current weather or at least the temps don't lend themselves to make us think of spring, but they do lend themselves for us to dream of spring coming.
I've been admiring wildflowers for years and the ones that got me started are the spring ephemerals.
This one, though I'm not sure it's a spring ephemeral, is one I have not yet had the opportunity of experiencing. It's Skunk Cabbage aka Symplocarpus foetidus. Suppos d to be one of the first if not the first. Hoping to find some to check out.(Hopefully I figure out how to import a pic)
