Influx of fake accounts and the dangers of them: BEWARE! This blog is to be a warning for all of Senior Sizzle. I've been on this site for many years and this year has become a dangerous one on this site and many other sites such as this one. The danger? FAKE ACCOUNTS! Why are they fake you may ask? You're probably thinking, There are some people who just want their privacy and do not wish to divulge their true identity. And in some cases, you are correct. But think about this, If they feel the need to steal a photo from the internet and pretend to be the person they stole from? Are they worth it? What is the so-called "danger" from these fake accounts? Simple. They will ask for your email, Your phone or have you install GaGaHi on your phone. That's the semi-safe aspect. No danger there right? Here's where the fun begins. They will send you their "real pictures" of themselves which are still stollen pictures off of the internet. What you don't know is that attached to these stolen photos are codes embedded within them. These codes are unknowingly opened by you as soon as the image appears on your screen. What do these codes do? They embed themselves within your computer, your phone or tablet. Once embedded, They have complete control. They can then, enter your computer, your cell phone or tablet remotely. They can even watch you without you even knowing it if you have a cam attached to your device, as most Cell phones do as well as Tablets and laptops. You are now being watched. They can even watch your screen as you type in any sensitive information such as login info and passwords. Bank account information... EVERYTHING! How can I protect myself you might ask? It's never a simple process. First, you will want to know if you've been hacked already by these Scammers. If you are suspicious of Cell phone hack, Answer these questions. Does your battery seem to not hold a charge now for some unknown reason? Do you get texts out of nowhere with strange "code?" Does your phone shut off without notice occasionally even when you still have battery power? If yes, then you've probably been hacked. As for computers, I do not know the best way to tell. But if you search online, there are many solutions as to how to protect yourself and find out if you've been a victim of these Cyber Assassins. How can you tell if the profiles here have fake pictures stolen off of the internet? One solution is a site called: https://www.tineye.com/ Here you can just right click the picture, copy picture address or location and paste it within the search bar of Tin eye and it will search the internet for any pictures that match the one you have entered. It will show you every site the picture was ever used on as well as dates of how long it's been on the internet. It is not 100% fool-proof, but it is one method of protecting yourself. There are also ways of obtaining the person's I.P. address and then doing a reverse I.P. look-up to see where this person is. They will say they are generally somewhere close to you, Yet chances are they are either somewhere in Africa, China or India. These are the most known countries of Scam artists. Another aspect is to watch how they type. English is NOT their first language. Instead of stating, " I am," they will only say, "Am." Their sentences will be broken. Pay close attention to details, my friends. Protect yourself. I have been busting these scammers for years and reporting them to international authorities. Actions: You can report these people to international authorities. They will be found through their I.P. address and imprisoned for their crimes. What they are doing IS A CRIME! You have a right to protect yourself and anything you can do to protect the next person is always a blessing.
