 I guess I am guilty of that but I've got a lot of excuses lined up I can only speak for myself, so, here goes...

I would love to speak to everyone but its just not possible. The problem is there are so many people wanting to talk. When I speak to someone I want it to be direct and meaningful and I will spend quality time doing it. I don't want to have several conversations at once or just fob people off, that's just rude.

So I usually start by reading my messages, and I do read every one and I reply to the ones that have touched my heart. I read the magazine and the blogs. I am more likely to respond to a blog post as these are from my friends and, as I don't have many friends who blog, I can spend quality time on them as is my wish After that I will look at instant messenger and usually begin a conversation with someone. Unfortunately, during a conversation, I am not even looking at the others on instant messenger and their messages will go unnoticed for a while.

So I like to have a quality conversations and messages. Unfortunately this means I cant always respond to everyone. Everyone is special and deserves a response and I really don't want to upset or ignore anyone but its really difficult. I have even left this site before because of the despair in having to ignore people who I really want and need to talk to but just cannot find the quality time to do it.

Well, that's my case for the defense

Of cause, if I kept my messages shorter, I could get to more people sorry
