The pictures are from our (almost) finished main floor reno's.

I'm better with a paint brush than I am with a camera, but hopefully you can see how it has come along! One weekend we had our friends raw_n_heelz up for a visit. Ok, actually me and Raw slaved all weekend and Heelz took my other half shopping...but it was great getting to know them better and get something done too!

The bottom right picture is meant to show the ceiling fan with the crest underneath it along with the textured ceiling and painted border. I wish someone would have told me what a collossal pain in the ass it would be to the work represented in that picture...I probably would have paid someone to do it! Having said that, we are really happy with the way it turned out.

Looking at the bottom left picture you can see part of the french doors we installed between the living room and front entrance along with new furnishings, part of the new floor.

Anyway, just wanted to give you an update and share what we've been up too. I can tell you that all these reno's getting done are the best aphrodesiac I've found yet for Perky Tits! (not that she needed it, lol.) She is having a LOT of fun showing off to family and friends after quite a long time of having a half done house!

It's a type of hardwood called "Larch"...It is supposedly very strong and naturally extremely water resistant. We got it in an oiled finish and just really liked the look and feel of it. This pic you should be able to see it a little better.
