wierd account issue

Dont' know if anyone had this issue, but was logging into this site on my phone and got a message that i had to contact customer support to access my account. I called the from site and was asked to give them my password so the could see what was wrong with my account. My password??So wierd, but I didnt give it to them and when I checked on my computer I could access my account just fine. Wonder what was up with that.
