All the Silent Voices swirling in my head

The echoes of those no longer on this earth

The voices that we yearn to hear one more time, before we forget how they
once sounded.
The conversations that go unanswered
The questions in our psyche

Then.....there are the voices of those we meet in forums such as this.
We talk, we begin to trust, we email, we friend, we text, we phone talk, we
look forward to their voice.
......and then......then the silence creeps in. These voices go silent often
sans explanations
The words, the thoughts, the feeling/s, the sentiment all come in to
question.......as lies.

The silence is cold and deafening.

Gives a new meaning to voices in our heads~~

Do you hear the voices too? Anyone have their own Silent Voices ?

Hmmm... That doesn't sound good.
Voices? I hear them all the time ; sometimes, I understand what they're saying. 😶

Yes my friend I truly know those voices and the feeling associated with silence that accompanies it sometimes, but honestly I have learned, especially here that it's for the best sometimes.

Know all too well the feeling of silence and being silent myself. I used to carry the hurt like a shroud but now its more akin to being numb. One of the rare times I welcome numbness. If someone online leaves you, then they were not a good friend or more. Try not to carry that burden of abandonment from the virtual departures. The real life ones are far worse and worth lamenting. I hope you find some solace.

People come and go in real life and online. If someone told me a few years ago that I would be talking with strangers on a computer I would have told them they were nuts .. now not only do I meet people online , I actually care about some .

All kinds of voices. I think of everyone I encounter as "real" Their thought's, feelings, who, what, when, and where they are are tangible things that I take as face value. Only when they drop off the face the earth does the "why" call into question my perception of their reality.

Nicely put, yes, I have some silent voices. Some though can never be forgotten, and despite their physical absence, I can always hear them in my mind. It sometimes does get harder to call them up though, as the years go by.

Not many silent voices, more happy memories of people gone by.

Fortunately I've rarely had the ghost thing happen to me too. I do wonder though why people can't be more straightforward.

Hope you're well McJayJay!

There is black and there is white and then millions of shades of gray. Like voices

use Silent Voices in your messages

Stanley Kubrick, Full Metal Jacket, "The only thing dead people know is that it is better to be alive." I probably missed the point but that is my contribution.
But if you are talking about the voice in your head, then that is you. I like talking to myself because I am the only person I know I can carry on a decent conversation with.
PEACE !!!

beautifully put!
XO!

throwing that XO! out early to you!
i have been the voice to go silent.
and have had voices go silent on here.

as you know i had an old account.
and one day decided to WALK AWAY.
it was mainly due to security.
this was when the MadEEson REED thing happened and i didn't know if my real info was going to be public.

i was on the BookFace with a few people from here.
i reached out via mutual friends but some never replied.
yet do on my return here.

i am sorry you feel ghosted.
here...
sometimes i just don't feel i have a good post.
or just am not in the mood.
this is the first time i have had the emotional energy to comment on blogs in a while...

take care.
(( HUGS ))

There have been quite a few voices in blogland that have become silent. I guess life gets in the way for better or worse!

Well put! "...the silence creeps in" That it does, that it does...

I sometimes wonder - more often than sometimes - when the interest in a person slowly fades along with the frequency of communication, why don't you say it instead of staying quiet, ducking? Is the interest in the person genuine interest or just a distraction?

Well put!!! I can completely relate, specifically to this part stated by you so perfectly.

....then the silence creeps in. These voices go silent often

question.......as lies.

I think that any n every voice that resonates within us somehow...is impt and missed for a myriad of reasons. The golden silences are those we never cared for anyway. Thanks for sharing your thoughts ~

Yup....those silences that are for the best, never mattered anyway. The meaningful ones are those that we miss. Thanks for your thoughts. I needed to finish these comments before i no longer know how...with this new blog format. Ugh ~

Thanks for these comments. The numbness is not good for me....its a slippery slope to an unwelcomed path. Thats why the silences hurt so, as i feel /love/sense things very deeply~

Yep....very understandable. I can see that unplugging aspect. I cant see, however, the inability to communicate that. Yet....as ive learned ....no voice/response/answer IS an answer. Thanks for your thoughts~

Very well said Lust.....thank you! The why ? and then i rethink...was it all a lie? When did it crossover to lies? Ohhhhh people and their motivations..we will never understand ~
