Well...actually Leave it To 2020 to have two Friday the 13th's. Yep....today is that day that the lore tells us is magical in a not so nice way. The movie...the black cats...the not walking under ladders....the whole mystique of the day has quite a history. In March this year we were sent home from school for two weeks due to this pandemic. Who knew those two weeks would morph into 6, 7, 8 months. We were sent home on March 13th, 2020, yep it was a Friday. Now they say, the entire world is in another wave of the pandemic and that the upcoming holidays will look very different for most. Now today is another Friday 13....and its early in the day. Lots of time left to create mischief...i guess time will tell. My own history also bought into the evil twist of a Friday the 13th. That was prior to November 13th 1992. It was also a Friday and my last day of chemotherapy. It had been a grueling 20 months prior to that and i was also a new mom , trying to raise an infant. I missed her first birthday, i wouldnt let my husband bring her to the hospital the entire time i was in there. My mother and brother came to live with us to help with caring for her, while i was fighting to get better. It was an all around terrible time. BUT...its 28 years later and here i am writing this. This day has been dubbed my re birth day.......and ever since i have embraced ALL the Friday the 13th's. 💕🙏 So in this most unusual year, it stands to reason that a couple of Friday the 13th should be thrown in. I mean....why not. I hope everyone enjoys this day in whatever way you can. If nothing else, its one day closer to the weekEnD ~~ Enjoy 😷

Congratulations on your re-birthday! I love that you have such a positive experience with a date that so many connatate with negativity. I also appreciate the connection you provide to the previous Friday the 13th of 2020. Leaves me pondering if the two dates can in any way symbolize we've come full circle, but it seems to me it's only just an arc. Maybe by the next one in August we can somehow make it full circle. Well there ya go! Good for you! 👍 ❗❗❗ I'm always especially careful of how I drive. But besides that, I try not to think about it. It's like that moth trying to avoid the lit candle 🕯. Now ya got me thinking...
