Yep....i think ur correct. Detox is detox...no matter the substance. I have evolved and matured from the wow factor,not even looking or expecting that., either we build up to it or we settle into a comfyness that works for the next chapter. I think many can relate to your dry spell pic tho...lol. how appropriate~~

We are so akin.. we could be sisters from another Mr  I too have become weary of swiping left on sooooo many men...those few that DO catch my eye turn out to be catfishers or naked butlers touting their wares  .I might be missing out on one of the loveliest guys in the world but if he doesn't peak my interest at first glance.. then it's a thumb swipe left.I haven't had sex for over 2 years.. do I miss it.. no. not really.. I miss waking up with someone and companionship more than sex... I think I'm just past caring now tbh... I WILL be the woman with too many cats in her life

Think we all go through dry spells for a number of different reasons mostly though with age you get wiser & more cautious. Like you said when Red Flags pop up especially now best to not bother. Most folks don't choose to go into such long periods of abstinence more a case of many circumstances adding up to yours, mine & many others being in sexual limbo.
