Mine is the same as yours. The ones who say that can mean nobody wants to meet them. Not even talk with them. It's like we are supposed to talk with anybody who wants to talk with us and meet them if they want. What we want doesn't matter to them. Some people chicken out or change their mind about whoever. Get called a a a fake. Humans are the most dangerous animals on earth. If only animals had the ability to know when to keep away from us humans they would be better off.

Unless you're a bot, you're a real person. I think there's a difference between being "real" and being "genuine" though.

My definition of someone being real is someone who is breathing living who I can see face to face and talk to on the phone The Light is shinning and she is lonely and waiting in the darkness.

Real, my daughter's favorite story when she was around 6 was,"The Velveteen Rabbit". Not that it relates but I guess that it kinda does, Real(so far as the toy the internet presents it) is a feeling you get from talking with someone about everything or anything that makes that strong connection with you. So much so that when you interact with them you might actually feel closer to them then the person at the next table in the coffee shop. Can an actual breathing person who has no connection to you be less real than a well crafted program that really makes its mark on your physche, to you yes because in all honesty the people you ever lay eyes much less touch skin to skin make up the minority of the Real to you people you interact with on here. So I guess the children's story does relate, because most you meet through here will never be anything but words and perhaps carefully currated pictures. Not the Whole Truth but the truth that I can see.
