I think every “nice guy” has wondered about this... I know I have. Usually, as you watch the girl you finally worked up the nerve to ask out... shoots you down to go out with the @&#hole that is already cheating on his current girlfriend with HER!?! Many years, more than a couple beers, and beating my head against a wall... maybe a google search or two. I think I have an answer... some is borrowed from head sprinklers online... so consider the source! Girls want to feel special, picking a bad boy and then turning him into a good guy proves how special she is and how important she is to him. Also, it allows her to live out a fairly text book romance novel story. This sounds kinda crazy when you boil it all down to one little sentence like that. Is it true? Is it worth the excitement of the bad boy? Is it worth the abuse he puts her through? Is this why older or more experienced women start to ignore the bad boy and go for the “boring” “nice” guy? Help me out ladies

been there done that and its not all its cracked up to be ..I much rather have an intelligent conversation with a retarded moose as opposed to being around a bad boy..they are too full of themselves and always cheating on whoever they tend to pretend to be with..lol

I know many a self proclaimed 'nice guy' or 'good guy' has turned out to BE the a**hole. I know them personally and have watched them complain women don't want them because they are nice guys or good guys and given enough time I know why women don't want them. Most definitely their idea of a good guy is not what women call a good guy and they are in fact bonafide a**holes and I wouldn't go out with them if they were the last men on the planet. People that assume someone isn't going out with them because they are too nice often are not what they seem. I am not making a judgment on anyone, just voicing what I have seen first hand.

May I point out that as you are a married man that a man cheating isn't what most would call a good guy?? Again, I am not judging, but I am thinking if a wife catches her husband cheating and he is saying he wants GOOD sex insinuating his wife sucks in bed even though he is there doing it as well, why is he not helping HER to have a better time? Why is he doing what he knows will hurt her by cheating? You yourself used the line of a woman shoots you down to go out with the @&#hole that is already cheating on his current girlfriend with HER!?! Okay, so who is cheating on his wife and/or girlfriend yet thinks he is a good guy? Wouldn't that be the guy you just said was the a**hole?? I am again NOT judging, but I first hand know a man that claimed he was all that and more including he did everything in the house. His wife lost interest and he did the cooking, the cleaning, the shopping, everything... come to find out he lied about it all and was a total dick to her and did none of the above. HE thought he was this terrific catch. I just look at men that say they aren't getting any or not getting any good sex from their wives and think they are that bad boy I want to avoid. Just a thought.....
