new blog title... not that anyone's probably noticed.

but nonetheless, i wish to explain -- for I find it rather hopeful!

or at least, "balanced"

first off, it's what I usually receive in response to my "Advanced Searches". Ha.

But y'know what's nice? It's not "No results, sorry." in that curt, dismissive, full-stop end-of-story, done, period, sayonara, finito, see-ya-later tone.

Not all all. It's followed immediately with "Please try again."

How kind it is. How polite. How...hopeful!

Yeppers... it's "giddyon up back on them thar , buddy! ya don't think we ain't never been thrown before?" by the grizzled ranch hand.

It's "you never know for sure... there _could_ be something next time!"

and so, I embrace that. Please try again.

It's certainly a better anthem than "You might as well give up now."
