Once upon a time, I took a picture of a pine tree on a rock against a background of gray water and gray sky. I enlarged it, matted and framed it, then gave it as a gift to someone that really liked it. Someone else saw it a declared it a colorized B&W photo.
My friend denied it.
"I am an expert. I know these things."
"I know the photographer. She only shoots in color."

I'm with you.

Opportunity may knock only once, but temptation bangs on the door forever!

Bnw serves a purpose when it's well done and the subject is appropriate.
You'd have to have an eye for when it'll work and when it won't. It's not a given that every color pic can be flipped to bnw and work.
Yep.. I guess it's not your style.
But not without merit...
It's not for you.

Bnw un clutters a cluttered photo...
In the case of my last episode? Wouldn't help but to make me look more guilty, than I already was - supposedly.
BMW can emphasise a pov... unwittingly..
Yep... I'll skip THAT one. 👍

Diane Arbus and Ansel Adams were the last word in B&W- I have one of Ansel's books and would love to get a framed photo of his and one of Arbus
