Fantasy...

Here comes the jesters, one, two, three
its all part of my fantasy...

With the NFL preseason in full throttle it is fantasy football time. One of the best things out there, especially for a displaced fan. At least with fantasy football I have an interest in most games aired regardless of who is playing.

As with most years I have multiple teams in multiple leagues. I have two winners trade leagues. These are my favorite. We draft, and then you get to protect two players. Every week the winner gets to propose a position for position trade and the loser cannot deny it. So if you keep winning you can create a super team. The back and forth is outstanding.

Then there are my five keeper leagues. These leagues all have different number of keepers and rules. I like the variety. One is a full dynasty type where we keep eight players. One has a full defensive squad to draft. One just a DB, LB, and Defensive player. One just a team Defense. Plus the scoring is tweaked in each one as well. It also makes it where you draft differently. Not to mention the bidding for free agents one. That is unique too.

The last one I have (at this moment) is a USFL league. Basically it is an autodraft, so different there. Plus its a theme league. You have to choose a USFL team name, colors, and logo. Mine (as no surprise) is the Chicago Blitz. My bro-in-law has invited me to another league (away from Yahoo) so I will join that one. All local people I know, so again different and cool

 Maybe Senior Sizzle should do one...although it would prolly work as well as IM or messages here

 Happy Tuesday I did try once but it's so damn confusing to me..Good luck with your teams this year..

I am sorry to hear you found it confusing. You would probably enjoy it otherwise. Especially now that the scoring is automatic on the sites.

Thank you. I play so many I usually come close or win at least one. Although I also usually have one that ends in last too lol

That GOT game sounds fun, almost like a drinking game.

When it comes to learning something, there are never bad students.. only bad teachers is cool if you dont understand the game. Not everyone does.

Prizes, depends. In the Yahoo leagues their are fake trophies on your profile you can win. Some leagues you pay money and the top three finishers get monetary prizes back. Playing with friends there is always the bragging rights lol.
