Some women put BBW to stand for Big Busted Woman.

What confuses me is when it reads BBW/BBM.

That's why I'm clarifying what that term is. Some people really have no clue.

I wish I could drop the bbw so why would someone want it? Most men don’t like it. People are rude and cruel about it. Why would someone want that label?

The ones that understand the term want it. I always try to clarify to avoid any awkwardness. There's nothing wrong with the term, it has a positive connotation.

There are men who like it, if they are rude or cruel about it (unfortunatley there are many idiots out there) is best to have found out early.

I would not say "most men" don't like it. I like a larger woman. The most important part of a woman is her brain, not her body.

I totally agree with you labels are not flattering and years ago the term fat or obese got dropped because women and men didn't like them labels either so its a label filled word ..one thing that gets turned into another so no one gets their feelings hurt ..lol would be nice if it were that kind of special world...

I think you need to re-examine your supposed need to use the term BBW. By looking at your pics you don't fit the category regardless.

Cmon Canadian,

Some of us here in the states are quite well versed in this area! We know the difference between a size 10 and 18 and will ask for photos to see if you are what you say you are! So rejoice in knowing there are some of us who GET IT!

I never said all men. In fact, most of the messages I get are from American men

However, as of late, there were many that weren't familiar with the term.

Love your post.
I always used the term BBW until recently. There is no Big/Tall and Thick category lol. No matter my profile description, or proportions seen on my pics, I will always out weigh most average men by about 50 lbs. My waist will still be 44" and my thighs will still be the same size as a skinny woman's waist (27")

Men still act surprised to see in person that I really am 5'11" bare foot and wear the equivalent of men's XL clothing because women's plus size clothes are too short in the legs and arms.

BBW loving men are disappointed that my hips and ass tends to be bony and my belly and boobs are not full and rounded.

So I changed my category to a few extra pounds to avoid confusion. Those men who can't read can be disappointed all they want.. I am who I say I am

I totally understand where you're coming from. I am 5'4 and have a female friend that's 6'2. We were the same weight but because of my short stature I was more rounded and she was slightly thick but more proportional. I can totally get why you'd have difficulty classifying yourself when the options don't do your physicality justice. I wouldn't worry about it though, you're gorgeous!
