Run away train of thought Things feel artificial, like a substitute of something forgotten. Perhaps that's an indication of a lack of experience, or imagination. It's more reasonable to assume that there's a lack of appreciation that comes with a lack of activity. Stagnation would appear to have that effect on most things. Despite that speculation, one notices the amount of glowing rectangles around, eye's distracted by computational processes. Technology is our new religion, no complaints here. Seems strange, to have the ability to communicate as we do, through science an' shit. I like it. I miss the way we spoke before, I wonder how we'll talk later. I wonder if we'll talk. I wonder if all these signals, waves, and emissions will have more drastic effects on our species as time progresses. Then, there's a twitch that wants to stop this thinkng, to stop asking questions, to look for answers, or to bury doubt deep. Let's let lying dogs sleep. Life feels like another person's day dream, I feel like someone's still counting sheep. |
