Different friends. A different city or town and maybe even, different country? Perhaps a different or cat or... can I say - ? A different lover, wife or husband. I don't know. I'd say today... was one of those days, for me. I spent a LOT of time thinking... about a bunch of random stuff. I was thinking about the fact that July, is almost over. I can't believe, where summer is going, right? I mean it's... flying by. The other night I was driving from the marina and it was just past nine, in the evening. It was already dark. A couple of weeks ago, that little road was still lit up, by the sun. I've got a bunch of things I've gotta do, before the summer is over. Then I drifted completely off the tracks... to thinking about ; what if things, would be different, today? (I followed it) Yep...I do some 'what if'ing myself. But in the last year, I quit my job and moved to the other side of my state so 'different' hasn't been that long ago. Opportunity may knock only once, but temptation bangs on the door forever!

Been thinking that myself... for the past year. As a result, I just began divorce proceedings, moved into my own place, am seeking a new vocation (after 24 years as an executive with the same company), and am now building something new. We are never guaranteed tomorrow so I won't procrastinate any longer. Currently I am in a new home, new marital status, new way of thinking and boundary setting. It feels scary but also liberating! Good timing of your post!

I believe everything happens for a reason. Although I have had my share of challenges, I do not look back and think 'what if'? Today, would have been my Mother's 91st birthday. She's been gone 16 yrs and there isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about her. Fond memories are filling my head. I also find myself, stopping, catching my breath and doing a double-take when I see her image in the mirror...until I realize it's me, not her.

Yea, I use to think different was good but it’s not. Different can Be harder or difficult. The unknown is scary.

yah...i think of that what-if scenario a lot...but then, it meant to happened in the way it did...it's got to be...as if it was divine intervention...i like where i am now...in my life...and i am very lucky though my life...
