Going Slow Ups the Odds You’ll Become Fast Friends
I bet a lot of people at Senior Sizzle are on the fence in terms of meeting up in person with people they encounter online here. It seems elemental and natural for those who do, but for those who haven’t, it’s a big step. And for just about all of us, life and reality complicate things by getting in the way of our fun.

Here’s a totally unscientific report on how it played out for Violette and me. We were both experienced with the lifestyle and if there were a Perverts of America organization, we’d be in it. But we found this site and enjoyed it mainly for the chance to watch others cam, and to get to know some of the more colorful and fun folk here like OhDearGodGirl, Spain’s FuiesclaavaAmo47, SplashUs from Canada and so many more.

A couple of times, we found someone or a couple with who we really clicked. They lived relatively close to us, and so getting together seemed a natural progression, and we did.

This isn’t a mystery, so I’ll tell you now that it worked out wonderfully in both cases, and we’d like to think we’ve made friends for life.

Did we get lucky? Absolutely, but the common denominator that we shared with our new pals was that we got to know each other --and our expectations-- very well before meeting. When we eventually did meet, we found them sharp, courteous and fun – just as we had online. By taking the time to get to know them a little –to the extent you can online – we stacked the odds in our favor.

Of course, there’s a certain rush that comes with flying together. That’s a different sort of encounter that brings its own thrills and potential chills for adventurous types. But or a more measured encounter, going a little slowly isn’t such a bad idea.

After all, this is some fast company we’re running with.
