Tell me how sexy i am ..lol No its not that i am asking this question its how attractive dating apps make us feel ..I am completely comfortable in my own body and i dont feel as if i need to compete with ..say , someone in their 40's who may have more desirable traits than me..Dating apps are only there for one reason , to capture your attention and rake in money for their subscriptions,.. How do they keep you interested in staying.?.lol matches..plain and simple ..This is one of the ways they can send you what they think will entice you by obtaining your email addy.. So lets look at the attractiveness scale..Do you have the desired sun tan? Do you work out regularly and now have a killer body of a 30 yr old when you are 50 something? Do you have the right and most desired hair color? Do you have a crap load of self confidence to attract the right partner? dating apps use rankings to decide which users are shown to you...Consider how apps make money : by getting users to pay for memberships or perks , in order to do this that app has to keep you engaged..and it has to keep you swiping ..because after all when you get bored and dont log on enough to keep the app interesting they assume your subscription will be cancelled and what keeps people on dating apps? Matches. For a match to occur both parties need to express an interest in the other , so it would make sense for the app to show you who is a match in what you seek and what attributes seem more interesting to you and them.after all alot of people are on a date app and some are vunerable more so than another and what better way for an app to allow us to hopefully get a glimpse of our next potential partner ... **** personal note here , i have frequented several date apps and find that the apps tend to match on age as opposed to likes and dislikes and compatibility , i am not a big fan of any date app matching me up with anyone who is my age or older but the app assumes that just because I am the age i am i want to meet men who are as well..thats where i see the bs part of that date app..They should ask about age related compatibility not assume that its desired..    |

My runs on dating apps have always been short-lived, totally hit-and-run. I get on, find someone fairly quickly, get off and delete the app. You know what's kind of sad? I found someone on Plenty of Fish and dated her for two years. When we broke up, I went back to my old POV profile and discovered the profile of the same woman who rejected me 24 months prior because she said I wasn't "material for a long term relationship." So I trolled her. I said after mulling it over for the past two years, I had decided to get serious, and asked if she would please give me another shot.

lol yes you are right the larger sites have more to offer the smaller sites then they join and screw things up..OKC i am not familiar with ..but its definately this site and a date site like day and night it boring here lately i am in agreement there too..but i get my gold free monthly by doing an ice breaker..

The biggest problem I have and also the dating aps have, is not enough real information, no amount of computer generated thought can come up with proper matches unless it has proper information, when the site sees garbage for input it can only apply this to it's output, The limited amount of input these sites receive can never result in real compatible matches.. The art of the site, is just to keep ones attention so the money keeps coming in...
