I think I'll delete my account soon... It's nothing personal but I made a post recently that hasn't really gotten much attention. I was hoping more people would be interacting with it, but only one person bothered to comment. It's kind of disappointing to feel like the only reason people will talk to me is so they can fuck me. So I think I may need to delete my account after Valentines day. I know a lot of you will be mad about this, but I just can't take it anymore as is. I get so many messages, but barely anyone comments on my blog posts. It's honestly the easiest way for me to chat with all of you at once. Though since I wont reach my goals for my last post, it may be time to call it quits. If you don't want that to happen, make it known by supporting me as I've asked in my last post. I know it may be a lot to ask for, but I don't really see any reason to stay if no one bothers to actually listen. I hope though everyone is doing well and that if I'm lucky, I'll have the incentive to stay. |

First time too. I have rarely looked at blogs here at all, as it seems so much less personal than chatting (I can't send messages, as I know it isn't worth paying for the site). I can only speak for myself, but I'm sure I'm not the only one...but people prefer personal contact and communication. Nobody wants to be spoken to "all at once", as if they are in a stadium watching a performer. I think if you want to talk to people for reasons of them getting to know you, through a megaphone is not the way to do it. Just one random guy's opinion. All the best to you.

One piece of advice someone gave me is to reply to your post immediately in order for it to show up on the Blogs timeline faster. Other than that, it's all about content. Some post erotic photos, some blog, some post jokes, etc.

Considering the comments already posted . . . TRUE: If you want people to see your "Posts" then you need to POST THE FIRST comment to make it appear in the "Recent Posts" section. For some unknown reason the blogs are setup that way. FALSE: I hate to inform you that nobody reads blogs on Passion. As you can see on the main blog page the posts get plenty of views. FALSE: if you write intelligent, thoughtful things you won't have any pull unless you intersperse your thoughts with nudity When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro. The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.

people come and go, not everyone will comment on blogs, comments show when someone is interested or else does not like what was posted

Hi softsweets - this post resonates with me as I'm new to blogging on Senior Sizzle and I'm taking notes. We want people to interact (both good and bad) to our view of things. In a perfect world, you and me stay here and find a way to make it fulfilling. I'll try to keep this summary short. One. Seasoned bloggers have weighed in (both redrockrascal and BiggLala and others, pull no punches) and as a result I think we should respond to every comment we get to our posts. These will start with "thank you for commenting". because I really am pleased someone read and took the time. Also I will do a good job commenting on others who post ideas. Will try to encourage but I wish I had Bigg's tactile strength. Two. What are you doing to compel comments? Many times, I just want to broadcast my song and dance. Why aren't people commenting to me? Working on this. As for posting my comments first on my blogs to get greater readership - I've done it two of seven so far, I'd rather not. My posts should be compelling enough that I don't need this. I hope you stay and we work through this together along with the folks who have chimed in already. Quietly, I do adore your profile. I really enjoy your blogs! I try to comment when I have a thought or insight. I've contemplated leaving this site too from time to time. Unlike 99% of the women on here I think I can speak for a lot of the guys when I say we don't get near the volume of messages and trash on here like you ladies do. So it's a different dynamic for us, I've sent out messages or comments and left wondering if it even got through or the person even cared. So yes just like Bigg said there are some things that can be done don't get discouraged. And just like Montrose said a simple thanks can go a very long way. Think about when someone holds a door open for you or says Good morning to you, just a simple act can have very profound effects on your day. So keep up the work, if it were easy everyone would be doing it. You have some great thoughts!

Time to follow my own advice thank you BiggLala for your comments. can't do the 'me" commenting on my own stuff. Two of seven is too much already. Don't want a helper commenting to get me viewed either. At some point, you have to believe in your own stuff. I do have something brewing for you which we should talk about elsewhere and that's undeniable. Love David.[/b} Best, David

I don't cruise the blogs often, I have a few that I follow and some groups I interact with..time is the issue. I comment on blogs if the blog content resonates with me. I don't always comment on every blog I read. One blog and you are ready to go because there was not much interaction? Give this place more of a go than once; you might even get a following of blog commenters. Best Wishes for you no matter what way you decide to go.
