Control and Power I am not a control junkie by any means in my everyday life. Relationships with family, friends, coworkers even past relationships there was never an element of control or power in my part. Ironiy since breaking up and becoming single Ive become very "DOM" like with the men Ive been meeting and dating. I dont know if its due to my anger from a breakup, or the stage of my life or what.. All I know is, I become a character or a different person as of late when I date or meet a man.. Control and power not just sexually but in everything. Ive been telling it how it is, and how it should be and if he doesnt listen hes g. From start to end, from the moment I meet the guy to the moment I leave his bed the next morning it seems I have been ing a role. And I LOVE IT!! So I suppose thats why Im here. Its a fetish. Im no leather and whip DOM Matrix, but I do feel an edge. Like and evolving. And Im really enjoying it. More importantly Im enjoying the self reflection after. I even dug a heel into a mans rear the other night and had him me by my last name the whole night. Who am I? lol. I dont know, but I like it.  |

Allyson, it seems to me you're reacting, enjoying your freedom since your breakup. Many years ago, after my wife passed away in an auto accident I started dating again many months later. To my surprise, most of the women I dated had just ended a relationship either through death, divorce or breakup, etc. What really shocked me, and admittedly to my VERY pleasant surprise, was their willingness to jump into bed with me on the first date! They were all VERY aggressive (to my delight, btw). Like you, the ladies were now free to explore, expand their horizons and take on the world. Many had lost weight, working out doing all those things that had smothered them for so long. Especially sexually! They wanted to explore their sexuality, try group sex, anal sex, crazy stuff even go to sex clubs! They were exploding with desire and curiosity in doing all those forbidden things they heard and read about. Needless to say I was ready to comply and help fulfill their many fantasies! Experimenting with control, enjoying the feeling of control, it is all fine if there is consent. And consent evidently means control is always shared. Control without consent however, well that often is an expression of fear. It is not always easy to draw the line between one and the other. But it is a line to always be aware of that it exists. You can lose yourself by lacking control, but also when control becomes a compulsion … which really is the loss of all control.

Power is just an illusion! You wouldn’t be like that if the people you meet wouldn’t enjoy playing submissive or seeing what they can get from you by playing your game! Who has the power really? Can a Dom even exist without a Sub? What happen when a Sub denies his/her Dom the power?
