That sucks, if I would have known I'd have happily come over to eat with you!

    Quoting  :

Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (OK 1969), Kelly's Heros, MASH. Speaking of food . . .

I recognize now that it surely made me look needy and pathetic. I mean, who cooks for a guy after only one sex-infused date?
Well, 2 of my meets from here did. One was a great (maybe even perfect) steak and grill corn on the cob. Almost too much to exert any energy later - but I found a way.
So, no, neither needy or pathetic.

When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro.

The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.

Your comment about a man cooking and panty dropping implications made me chuckle. I will often make homemade pasta on a second date, which does often have the desired effect. One of my dates started calling it 'panty dropping pasta'..

Of course, Godfather, Jaws, The Exorcist, I saw Star Wars, it was good, but I only saw it once. All my friends saw it multiple times. I've still only seen it the one time. I had a girl one time in my 20's and afterwards she started talking about making me some chicken dish with peanuts and I don't know if I felt trapped or not, but I never saw her again. I know I just wasn't feeling it, no spark, the sex was good, just sparkless, so I ended it. Sometimes it's not anything in particular, sometimes it's a lack of something.

Clockwork Orange!!an uncomfortable look at the future
The French Connection the drug and the car chase;also the first R rated film to win Best Picture
Peckinpaw's The Getaway
The Exorcist- I could not believe all the freaked out folks in the theatre- shows I am not catholic- I had spells of laughter like when her head spun around and she peed on the oriental rug
The charm of The Sting
One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest- one of my all time favorites

And now for the lasagna- cut it up and freeze it. Sometime in December you can have a piece and think back on what a great person you are and decide he missed the chance to have a good friend

Sorry about your. His loss. Big time. Hang in there you’ll find the right person soon. How could you not? You’re lovely, fun and interesting — they’ll be lining up around the block for you. Lord knows I would. It’ll come — and so will you

Movie is the Rocky Horror Picture Show. Obviously. Taught me and ageneration of kids not just to dream it but to be it. And to this day, Tim Curry in that movie is my first and most lasting man crush.

I can't speak for the ambisextrous community or what's running through their heads. I think it sucks to like pussy so much especially with the immense amount of
work it takes to put a meet together.

You've got plenty of opportunities to not have to think about
what happened with the last one when you have another
already on tap.

How manys guys have you told the reason you didn't
want anything to do with them honestly?

Using more than all the road!

Just cooking and sharing a meal together is nice- and hopefully nice company. I love to cook- and frankly if it's no more than a nice evening and good conversation that's OK too.

It blows my mind how people treat each other on here. No respect, courtesy... I've gotten rooms and been stood up so I don't do that anymore (in advance). I've gone to meet at restaurants and been left standing there with no phone call. What is it with people?

Hang in there- you seem like a very nice person. Do you ever feel like you are wearing an asshole magnet?

I have that prob in reverse. I often prepare a meal for a gal on the 2nd date, after all she probably supplied my meal on the 1st date, while all I did was buy her dinner. But I warn women before I get them into my citchen that many in the past have complained they GAIN weight due to my food ! I dont put that spoon in their mouths, but I will fill their plate if they wish. Since I am almost always dating BBWs, I have met very few that didnt WANT to eat anyway, grin ! As to them being BI, I dont care, because I am giving them 1 of their 2 choices, and most will fill up on whats in front of them, as with food, as with funn. But dont request me to cross gender lines, cuz I DONT !

Close Encounters.... that was a biggie for me. I still hear the "song" in my head sometimes lol!

All I can remember about the Grease theater experience is that *gasp MY MOMMMMMM wanted to go see it too so she sat in the same theater as my sister and I and boy, you'd have thought it was the end of the world!!!

Bummer that the dude cancelled in such a lame way.

Hello
I think he's an ass to do that to you not right for a man to do that. Just my way of thinking. Ladies are to get respect you men remember that!
When I seen the movie Grease I love it very much. Jaws I have seen many times and like you I seen it again last week on AMC. I seen Apocalypse now had to see it because I was in Vietnam. I was just a movie not much real about the real thing. Hamburger Hill was much better movie more like the real thing.

I'd be flattered (and more likely; famished) if you cooked a meal for me before or after sex (but not during)

'Live and Let Die' is the only James Bond film that I can say I really enjoyed all the way through.
'Taxi Driver' for the atmosphere and the music.
*'Bullitt' for that car chase. *(we named our band after the film)
'Mad Max 2' for being so over-the-top.

I never got to see it in the theater, and 1SexyGoodGuy beat me to it, but Monty Python and the Holy Grail is, for me, the best comedic, cinematic distraction I could imagine. The Life of Brian isn't so bad, either. If British humor is your thing.

First movie I can ever remember seeing was either Pink Panther Strikes Again or Rocky. Can't remember which. Whichever one the single-screen movie theater downtown carried first.

In other news -- wishing you well.

OK, I love lasagna, what's in yours? Beef, sausage, cheeses?
Lots of great movies AND TV shows in the 70s. Superman, The Jerk, Halloween, Animal House, the Warriors and Star Wars of course. TV - WKRP, Rockford Files, Quincy, MASH, Barney Miller, so many others.

I know it wasn't isn't a 70's movie but I was only 6 when the calendar turned to 1980 so one of my movie memories was "The Dark Crystal" 1982 because it was so weird, new, fun, scary, and muppetty goodness that the Skeksis still make the hair on the back of my neck stand in fear.
