A new me?

So I came a decision remove my tongue stud.
I thought that I'm now 43, am I over this?
Is there any point in having it?
So I took it out and spent 24 hrs with a feeling of loss and slight discomfort, but I felt I would eventually get over it.

Video called my last night, showed her I took it out and she told put it back in!!!
She said she didn't like how my mouth looked without it and that I needed get it back in now!!

So it's back in and surprisingly, I feel whole 😁
So weird!
