Georgia Cannabis Legalization Concern
Georgia Cannabis Legalization Concern Having lived in Florida and some other states where the Legalization of Cannabis has evolved to the sign of the times it just seems like this backwards state is just so behind the times. Literally backwards. With one of the highest Opiate problems compared to other states how can a State be so against legalization of Cannabis. Im just so confused. Decriminalize it already. Its the one thing I hate so much about this new state I live in. Yes Im high as fuck as I write this. lol |

Because historical data doesn't point to Georgia having a drug problem in general. 2015 data indicates that Georgia is 34/50 for Opiod deaths. While that's sure to have risen much higher the past couple of years, legislature does not like the idea of using one "addiction" to solve another addiction and historical data indicates that they don't really have a reason to. Marijuana legalization would be a last-ditch effort to get things under control - meaning that they'll go through the punch list of everything else.

I HATE cannabis and everything about it. To each his own. Just the smell makes me sick
