H.W. The Last American President

H.W. The Last American President I do see him as the last president beloved by both sides, if only for a time. Yet another thing to lay at the feet of the Clintons. Year prior presidential picidillos went unsaid in the press ect.. But after Nixon and then again some after Reagan for the Contra mess lines began to form. Sadly the side were never even and only have gotten worse. In come Billie Boy and a problem, a simple choice not so simply but like a plus in the Dyke once pulled hard to impossible to put back. So the choice was made. They'd ignore and even lie to cover for Bill, a slipperly slope to say the lease. The thing about lying is it becomes easier as far more needed as time goes by. Lies to cover lies and now is there anything that's true. At best it's The Boy Who Cried Wolf. But lies find themselves up against a might foe, the truth. Then more lines are drawn, those who like the lie and other who are on the truth side, if only for now. This makes it all but impossible to find anyone that both sides look at evenly, it's war in a way now. A war we can only loose regardless who wins. Nothing is perfect and perfection and government is like oil and water. I fear at times there's no way back from her, not in my lifetime. We now choose foreigners over citizens, putting so called fair over right. Pitting the two sides further apart and at eachothers throats. Worse I'm not sure we can attract the right people we need to lead us anylonger. Who wants to be put through that meat grinder? Other then those like the former Mayor of Los Angeles, where politics was his only course being unable to pass the Bar to become a lawyer. There's far too many lawyers but putting a few incharge isn't the best way to fix the problem. And accepting one that's even less so that much worse. The system is broken in my eyes. Nobody is perfect including me but I preach just my opinion, you take it or leave it. But look closer at those who attempt to guide you or ask you for your votes. I'm sickened every time I see Rev Al who owes millions in taxes but for whatever reason it goes uncollected nor keep him from the spot light due to shame about it, it would me. Not to point just him out, but he makes it easy. Many other fall in the mould sadly, far too many. So I will miss H.W., who although not perfect I always felt he had our best interest in mind. |

I agree 100%...….GHW Bush was the last US President who was loved and respected by most Americans. I don't think there will ever be another President who will achieve that! Despite what the so called "experts", the talking heads claimed, I honestly believe, had that squeaky voiced little asshole with all the charts, Ross Perot, not been on an ego trip and playing games, HW would've won, and we'd never have had to put up with all the lies and BS from the Clintons..... Two other things were a major factor in Bush's loss to Slick Willie.....First, his compromise with Congress which led to a tax increase, he should've forced Congress to cut spending. Now, the government is out of control with spending taxpayer $$$$$. Second, the TV show "60 Minutes deciding to be a PR firm rather than investigative sleuths, and allowing Slick Willie and that lying, evil witch to come on the show and deny his cheating with so many women, especially Gennifer Flowers. 10 years after he lied to the American people, claiming that evil woman (Flowers) was a liar, Slick Willie testified under oath that he had indeed had an affair with Flowers, and been the one who was lying. Then he went on national TV and pointed at every American, and very firmly stated, "I did not have sex with that woman!" Yet another lie! We soon found out the truth because "that woman," a young intern, just happen to save a certain dress with cum stains on it. Did his loving, brainwashed supporters reject him....oh no, they defended him and his wife. In their eyes, those two could commit murder, and it'd be OK.... Did someone say Vince Foster? Gee, I wonder why a beautiful woman went to prison rather than testify against Hillary? Did someone say Susan McDougal, who was later pardoned by Slick Willie....gee, I think anyone with an IQ over 22 knew that was going to happen! Of course, the media, who has been in bed with the Clintons since Day 1, has never done any investigative work since when it comes to a liberal running for any office, and I don't see these brainwashed idiots changing anytime soon. Oh, they will turn over every little pebble to find out anything about a conservative candidate. Pretty soon, we'll be seeing headlines like, "John Bannon touched a girls chest in 1st grade," or "Sally Gentry smoked a cigarette in 8th grade!" But, only in John and Sally are running on the Republican ticket! Of course, John and Sally could be running against a liberal candidate who has a history of abusing women, smoking pot, injecting heroin, breaking into homes, and even murdering people, but the media will not cover anything concerning their man or woman! Yes, Virginia, we're doomed.....we'll never see another decent, respectful and honorable man or woman be voted into our White House! I honestly believe that we'll never see another decent, honest, respectful man or woman run for President because of the idiots who thought Slick Willie, the snake oil salesman, was the 2nd coming of Jesus, and voted for him. These fools continued to support him despite the truth coming out that he really was a lying, conniving and cheating man who belonged in the gutter, not our White House!
