Real? or Fairy Tale?

Real? or Fairy Tale?

Do you want a relationship or a fairy tale?
Many women consider their new relationship to be “perfect.” That is the problem. It is “too perfect.” He insists on sending her hand-written cards and fresh flowers weekly. He buys her presents. He likes her to dress and look a certain way. He takes her to the best restaurants where it is good to be seen.
What starts off as amazing, romantic, and loving can quickly become overwhelming, controlling and suffocating. When you can’t be as comfortable with each other hanging out in your old pajama bottoms watching a movie as you are getting all gussied up and eating at the best table in the best restaurant, there’s a problem! That kind of fairy tale – wanting things to be perfect all of the time – can’t be maintained forever. At some point, you have to do life with all of its imperfections, and people who want to control perfection can’t deal with that.
Thin k of the song by John Legend... Cause all of me, loves all of you; Love your curves and all your edges, All your perfect imperfections.
Isn’t that a great mental image? When we are truly in harmony with someone, we do love their perfect imperfections. Things which might bother or annoy us in others become tolerable. We are willing to forgive or overlook these “imperfections” because their “perfections,” the good they bring to us, and the good they bring out in us, are so much more powerful.
I want real. I don’t want perfect. There is a difference.

I really like what you are saying. More people, not just women, need to read this..... Now that I have your attention, welcome to blog land. You needed a comment to get your blog moved from the "new blog" list to the main blog list that everyone reads. My good deed for the day. Now for my sales pitch... lol.. If you like sexy stories, I post one or two new ones every week on my blog Into The Woods (erotic tales) and it's fun for males and females alike. Come on by and say hello in the comments. I welcome all critical reviews. Have a great day! Jimmy B.

Your words are so true, too many people live in a fairy tale, or want that fairy tale life, no one on this earth is perfect, they live by image, social standing, and live for what others think about them, instead of living they way they want too or what is right for them, that is why so many people are unhappy, I feel they way you do, I want real not perfect, I want a true love not a perfect love, It is very nice to have a disagreement and make up, lolol, you don't forever, and that beauty, that tone body, that hair will fade away, so what do you have then?
