Submission is a gift....Is it?

I think I'm going to gag if I come across one more profile (usually written by genetic females) that goes on about how the person's<b> submission </font></b>is a gift. IT IS NOT A GIFT, IT IS A NEED. It is a need that the sub has. And in order to have that need filled, the sub must find someone willing to fill it. Now yes, there are Dommes that are bat-shit crazy bitches and Doms that are just insecure pricks that can't get sex any other way. However, a true Dom or Domme has a variety of skills (or they freakin should) that come in to play when dealing with a sub. As for myself, I have been a Dom, a Domme, and a sub, so I know a little about what the fuck I'm writing about. A Domme or Dom must be able to play the sub like a classical musician plays his or her instrument. A Domme or Dom must learn the sub's limits and then push them, without damaging the sub physically, mentally, or emotionally; THAT TAKES FUCKING SKILL. Which is why, quite often the Domme or Dom wants tribute, which I think is bullshit by the way. The Domme or Dom that thinks they should be compensated for their time. is a whole different topic lol.
A Domme or Dom must be able to deal with the sub's emotional ups and downs, know when to support them, and know when to tell them to shut the fuck up. A mistake many subs seem to make, is that after a while, they start to think it's an equal relationship; like a boyfriend girlfriend type thing. At this point, they may start to get demanding and attempt to express their opinions etc. IT IS NOT AN EQUAL RELATIONSHIP. PERIOD. Much like an employer and an employee; the sub is not equal and needs to REMEMBER THAT AT ALL TIMES
