Hate...

Hate... If one watches the news these day, it seems like there is a lot of hate on display in our country. Freedom of speech is an important part of maintaining a free Republic. Unfortunately, at times, that free speech is an excuse to espouse vile hate and fear mongering. I don't understand the "troll" component of our society that seems to get off on getting people angry, or expressing their shallow outrage towards members of our society. I know that as a TG, I am the potential recipient of hate, if not outright violence, simply for no other reason than that I exist. As far as a good fight is concerned, I'm all for it. I was a competitive Marital Artist for fifteen years and I enjoyed fighting. However, that was in a legalized setting, and it was skin on skin. We now seem to celebrate people that bring clubs etc., to beat upon unarmed people, and they are considered patriotic. Anyway, this blog is me exercising my right to exercise free speech. Right, as (damn near!) always, Terri! There have one or maybe two things you have said in your blogs that I didn't completely agree with, but this certainly isn't one of those rare exceptions.    {=}
