From what I've read your study was being a bit generous. Most fall between just under five to just above six, as to inches. I've never had too small and anything over 7 1/2 to 8 is a waste. Average is not a range. The most recent study I am aware of is the average size in the US is 5.57”. The study had to do with condom size, finding the current condom size is an inch too long, with the industry looking at sizing down to encourage more men to use them. I don’t think smaller/shorter condoms will make any difference, I don’t think I’ve ever heard of length as reason not to use one.
