His Magic/her beauty

His Magic/her beauty He wanted her to feel beautiful in her own skin. He wanted her to own her beauty, to walk confidently in it and breathe life into it. He sees her through lenses that operated like Photoshop. Scars, broken smiles, stretch marks and numerous imperfections in her lenses were erased in his. It’s never as simple as Him telling her that she is beautiful. He explains why He finds beauty in what He has complimented. He wants her to know, she does not have any appearance flaws and the only flaw He could see was her mind not allowing her to see who He sees.  Now, everything she touched looked magical beneath her newly painted fingernails. It was because of this, she stared at everything she touched. The doorknob, the steering wheel, her writing pen, the car keys, and the way her it looked as her fingers crisscrossed the keyboard of her laptop. Her fingers tapping rapidly against the keypad as she wrote to Him, first thanking Him, then begging to see Him. Then He could feel the smoothness of her touch and witness the magic He inspires in her.  |
