at younger age. i'd like to know each other.. but now its more towards sex... its sex date..

Like when hookers say, "Do you wanna date"? That does explain much in terms of your views about women and sex... No it really doesn't..... but yes, women = sex, unless otherwise stated. Women of the night say, "Wanna date"..... but then so do ordinary women who are forward enough to approach a man she's interested in , and ask if he wants to date. In either case, when a woman says, "Wanna date", she is implying sexual interest. Not hanging out and getting a drink. Such is the importance of communication.... Haven't you ever told a man, "Don't think this is a date"? ....oh sure you have. Then what is it?...Oh yes... "We're just hanging out" ...or , "We're just friends". Of course if a man thinks he's on a date, and finds out she just wants to be friends? He should drop her off at the next stop light, and go home alone...... or somewhere else.

A first date is a time where you can get to know each other. ... No, this is either a first meeting, usually don't need more than one hour for a first meeting, if that, or it's hanging out with someone . Touring some of shops along the strip or even the quaint little boutiques in NOTL and then maybe a light lunch complete with a glass of wine or an icy cold beer on a hot day would complete the time together. ... Hanging out. Like when you go out with your friends, and do something like this....it's hanging out. A first date does not require sex. .... Yes it does, for it to be considered an actual "Date". No sex? Then you just hung out with someone. Not saying that it should be excluded either but that is up to the people involved. .... If sex is excluded, the time spent together was just "Hanging out". Included? Then you had a date. Just sex? .... That could also be considered a "Date", but most call that a "Booty call". So see the reasoning here, that even you point out? "Just sex"...... Booty call, but can also be considered a "Date", because it's sexual. Like when hookers say, "Do you wanna date"? So...."Just doing stuff, [drinks , talking, food, drink, movie, ride...] not any sex", ...is hanging out. Is a shallow empty booty call .... But that doesn't make a booty call a bad thing..... it serves a purpose for both.

Make her a nice home cooked meal at home and then sit and talk and see where things go from there.

Unless you gave him sex of some sort, all you did was hangout. Him spending on a meal, [really foolish if he did] and using his gas to drive you around doesn't make it a date.

You don't know what dating is, do you? Going to the cinema, is hanging out with someone.... not a date. Eating a restaurant, is hanging out with someone....not a date. A theme park... .ha... not a date. Again, hanging out with someone. Like when you take your kids to theme park, or movie, or dinner, it's not a date, you're only hanging out . A date is getting together for sex. If you know you are not getting laid then cancel, because all you did was arrange a time to HANGOUT, not date. So a total waste of your time.
