Rampant Discrimination Reply to Writer's Digest Diversity Editorial Actually, diversity representation in media by mandate or peer pressure is a false impartation by mandate of a representation of truth of that which otherwise does not exist at all in reality. We are diverse as a society ... but our artificially ingrafted proportions across our media and educational systems and employment mandates and thus in all things is grossly wrong. Hispanics and Latins represent ONE in THREE Americans by number, and are under represented... whereas blacks are ONE in SIX Americans, and in American media today are grossly OVER represented... much higher proportions than their actual numbers. And Latins are under represented in all forms of media and education. Aside from this one example of the problem, there are further diversity similar misrepresentations of Asians, Native Americans, Baptists, Lutherans, Catholics, Pentecostals, Jews, Republicans, Democrats... etc. To NOT proportionately represent ALL of these groups in artificial mandates and constructs in education, media, and employment while mandating representation of one or two specific groups is to specifically DISCRIMINATE against all the rest of them so misrepresented by non mandate guidelines. So, although the modern Caucasian guilt is tilting our universe to representing the "African American black" segment in numbers equal to or greater than their appearance in our society by sole virtue of their numbers naturally occurring in their real demographics, it is at the same time thus DISCRIMINATING against every other group of society, and every other belief system, religion, political party, age, and other specifically itemized extensions of cultural diversity, SPECIFICALLY and grossly in today's mandates and appearances in education, media, and employment, but not limited to, the Caucasian sector by means of overcorrecting one parameter and not balancing the numbers in every other area. Thus, discrimination of the most gross proportions is now ongoing today in our society through a taking of ground by steamroller bully pulpit techniques from the likes of Oprah Winfrey, Al Sharpton, and any other maniacal name caller that possesses a microphone today in our country. Is there ANY other cultural sector of our society today being so discriminated against as that sector who is the American Caucasian male of adult age? If you are a female... they are fighting for your rights. If you are a foreigner or a non white ethnic background... they are fighting for your rights. If you are a or an elderly<b> senior </font></b>citizen, there are groups formed to fight for your rights. But, if you are, sadly, a Caucasian American of adult age... and a male... you are pretty much solid excrement on a floating piece of synthesized roofing material. To overly inflate the appearance of any group or slice of culture by artificial mandates upon media, education, or in employment in industry or business, is to at the same time commit a discriminatory insulting act upon the one thousand other natural or artificial constructs of discriminating factors that exist in our society. The only way to not discriminate and to give equal rights to all people is to not recognize race, age, background, religion, political party, color, or gender at all in anything for any purpose, ever. Thus, public bathrooms will be for all genders. Employment opportunities will exist for the 90 year olds as well as the 12 year olds. College entrance will be an option for white adult males of American origin who are under 65 years of age and over 21 years of age. Being hired as a weatherman on a television network will be an opportunity for people who are artificially sliced as being a 45 year old white American male who had American parents who were naturally citizenized by being born in one of the 50 states of this country, as well as the disabled foreign born undocumented immigrant African American black female, gay by choice, libertarian trans gender human. |
