974-1975 Cheer captain here It has been mentioned to me eabout the fact that they were attracted to me, because of it. I think that's why my ex-boyfriend was attracted to me. It took almost a year for the effects to wear off. Now, he has broken my heart and doesn't want to be what he once was to me. I don't thi9nki I can do it. It makes me feel so low. |

I am very sad for you on this. You deserve the best, as kmrijper said. However, if I may, you could be the long lost crush that many of us guys out here still think about, but sadly, didn't stand a chance with... or didn't think we did. That cheerleader that we didn't run in the same circles with, but for fear of rejection by that one girl that made time stand still whenever we saw her from across campus and too scared to walk up and talk to you. You might just be this girl: "I'm in love with a girl that I'm talking about... I'm in love with a girl I can't live without. I'm in love but I sure picked a bad time to be in love... To be in love Well, let her be somebody else's queen I don't want to know about it... There's too many others that know what I mean... Since you were a Cheer Captain in 1974 to 1975 I know I won't have to bet that you do... because I'd loose. Just like I'd probably would have lost if I'd come forward and tried to talk to you... or even ask you out. So... I decided to live with the fantasy instead of chancing that dreaded rejection. I mean all of this as the highest compliment, dear Jean. You mean more to more guys than you will ever know. Just had to tell you that.
